What happens when you are maturing in the new you and the old you is trying to live there as well?
You find yourself in the middle of a war zone. And the big prize at stake is Control. Who will control the outcome of your life – the new you or the old you?
The bible says that the flesh wars against the spirit and the spirit wars against the flesh. Because we live in America and war has not been on our soil in a long time, we don’t always take the aftermath of war seriously. But when you look at war, the end result is always the death of one and the dominion of another. Those are two outcomes that you can bet on for sure. Which one will you be? (more…)

What does nothing look like? I mean, when you hear the term, “you ain’t nothing!” What does that person look like? How do they sound and what do they do?
Nothing is really “no thing”. It is something that does not exist. You can’t see nothing. You can’t touch nothing. In fact, nothing is a word that does not have a meaning of its own. It is in fact a way to describe the absence of something.
For instance, dark is the absence of light and evil is the absence of good. These kinds of words are only said when you need to describe things that are not there. (more…)
