A Letter From Daddy

My Daughters,

Generations and generations of families recycled teachings and philosophies that perverted my true desire for you. They taught that she was inferior and in need of the man to think for her and keep her secluded from society. Men went into the streets and shared more of their philosophies with soon to be husbands and trained their daughters to fit the feminine profile. No wonder that submission and subservient began to mean the same thing in your societies.

Even as Jesus grew up He witnessed the same conditions and heard the same thoughts about women spoken in the streets. He was Jewish and saw His mother stay at home while He went with His father to worship. But something happened when He became a man. His thinking began to transcend the mind of the time. His vision for man was not subject to the teachings and practices of the day. And in His response to the communities He preached, they heard a new law, a new word that had never been taught before. By they, I mean the women and their children.

They heard Him tell the men that adultery was not just the woman’s sin, and further, it was not just a physical act. They heard Him say that marriage was honorable and divorce was unlawful. They heard Jesus speak about the daughters of Abraham deserving liberty. They saw Him speak with women face to face when all other men of the law shunned them and viewed them as incapable of comprehension. They even heard Him petition women to learn, apply and spread the teachings of the law to others who did not know the truth. What was He doing? He knew the order of the day. Jesus knew women could not learn the law. He knew they could not talk to rabbis in public. He also knew that when women were seen walking with men, they were considered loose. Yet, none of these traditional perceptions of women stopped Him from interacting with them and offering them the same gospel He offered the men. As a matter of fact, even Gentile women came to Him without male escorts seeking healing for their children. He was attracting more and more women to His ministry and they were stepping outside of the boundaries of society, coming freely to participate in the new thing He had brought.

In My kingdom, there will be just as many female leaders and prophetesses like Deborah as there were Samuels. Jesus would see to it that women would help to build the kingdom and spread the gospel of its residence here in the earth. They would be able to help govern it because the kingdom would reside in them too. They would be able to help enlarge its territory by their lifestyles, their testimonies and their God given gifting. They would go on to lead and function in authorities irrespective of gender because a bigger vision was to be realized. This was to be the saving of nations and the supplanting of God’s laws in the hearts of men.

I have much more for you to know and to do. In Me, you are as important, as powerful and as honored as anyone in the earth. You have territory to conquer and dominion to pursue. I will help you and teach you what it is you are to do, and who it is you are to be. You are My daughter and My love for you covers a multitude of all. Trust Me, I have more in store for you…
